How can we design proactive AI systems that truly understand, support, and
respect human needs?

If that question resonates with you, we invite you to contribute
to BEHAVE-AI, a workshop co-located with Mensch und Computer 2025 at TU
Chemnitz on August 31, 2025.

This interdisciplinary workshop aims to bring together researchers and
practitioners from HCI, AI, cognitive science, design, and industry to
explore how proactive AI agents can be designed and evaluated in ways that
are ethically sound, socially appropriate, and human-centered.

✨ We invite position papers (max. 8 pages, CEUR format) on topics
including, but not limited to:

Core challenges in designing human-centric proactive AI agents
Balancing autonomy, initiative, and user control
Evaluating user experience, trust, and perceived agency
Case studies across domains (e.g., education, healthcare, productivity)
Timing, relevance, and context-awareness in proactive behavior
Ethical, social, and psychological dimensions of AI initiative
