Call for Main Conference Papers NAACL 2027: The 2027 Annual Conference of the Nations of the Americas Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics June 1-5, 2027 San Francisco, California, USA ARR submission deadline: October 12, 2026 NAACL commitment deadline: December 23, 2026 Full call: https://2027.naacl.org/calls/main_conference_papers/ [1] NAACL 2027 invites long and short paper submissions featuring substantial, original, and unpublished research in all aspects of computational linguistics and natural language processing. Submissions should make a clear and substantive contribution to NLP. Contributions may be methodological, empirical, theoretical, linguistic, resource-oriented, or focused on evaluation methods and reproducibility. Surveys and position papers are welcome when they offer a substantial original synthesis, perspective, insight, or argument. Submission process NAACL 2027 will use ACL Rolling Review (ARR). Authors first submit papers to ARR, where the papers receive reviews and meta-reviews. Authors may then commit reviewed papers to NAACL 2027, where the conference makes the final acceptance decisions. NAACL 2027 and COLING 2027 share the October 2026 ARR submission cycle. Submissions remain conference-agnostic until meta-reviews are released. At commitment, authors must designate either NAACL or COLING as the primary conference. Each paper may be committed to only one primary venue, and the designated primary conference cannot be changed after commitment. Authors may also indicate that they would like their paper to be considered by the other conference if it is not accepted by their primary conference. Such secondary consideration is not guaranteed.
