Dear colleagues,\ \ We are pleased to announce the 21st Workshop on Spoken Dialogue Systems for PhDs, PostDocs & New Researchers (YRRSDS 2025), which will take place on 28–29 August 2025 at Avignon Université, Avignon, France.\ \ Website: <https://sites.google.com/view/yrrsds2025>\ \ This annual workshop provides a friendly forum for junior researchers to present their work, exchange ideas, and build collaborative networks within the spoken dialogue systems community.\ \ \ Topics of Interest include (but are not limited to):\ \ \- Models of dialogue: statistical, symbolic, and hybrid approaches\ \ \- Evaluation methodology for dialogue systems\ \ \- Semantics, pragmatics, and context in dialogue systems\ \ \- Incremental spoken dialogue systems\ \ \- Situated interaction with virtual and robotic agents\ \ \- Psycholinguistic influences on dialogue system design\ \ \- Establishing social relationships and engagement with the user\ \ \- Data collection and dataset sharing for statistical models\ \ \- Industry development cycles, requirements, and applications\ \ \ Important Dates:\ \ Extended submission deadline: July 10th, 2025\ (Please note: this is an extension of the original June 15th deadline)\ \ Notification of acceptance: July 15th, 2025\ (Please note: this is an extension of the original July 6th deadline)\ \ We warmly invite PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scholars to submit their ongoing or completed work.\ \ We look forward to receiving your submissions and seeing you in Avignon,\ The YRRSDS 2025 Organizing Committee
