New MSc in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Glasgow
The University of Glasgow is launching a brand-new MSc in Human-Computer Interaction, a postgraduate programme designed to equip you with the skills and expertise needed to shape the future of digital experience.
This 12-month full-time programme combines research-led teaching with hands-on project work to give you state-of-the-art knowledge in:
- Human-centred design principles
- UX research methods, prototyping, and evaluation
- Advanced interaction techniques such as XR, mobile HCI and conversational interfaces, and Social AI technologies
- Emerging topics in HCI

GIST is a world-leading HCI group, with research strengths in areas such as XR, Social AI, and digital technologies for health and well-being.
This programme prepares students with a computing background for rewarding careers in UX design, product management, user research, and interactive innovations across a wide range of industries including IT, healthcare, finance, and education. It also provides a strong foundation for continuing to a PhD.
